Monks on bikes

I had a little time to spare in Phnom Penh one morning recently.  At the time I thought I would just go for a quick stroll past the Royal Palace area and to see if anything unfolded.  The light was relatively drab for January so I started snapping away at the oncoming traffic until I realised a theme was developing here…monks on bikes!  Here they were, zooming past, side saddle, on their way to or from their monastery after the morning alms.  I used the stucco coloured Royal Palace walls as a backdrop and started to put together a small collection of images.

When in doubt in Phnom Penh … take photographs of monks!
